James has been photographing since 1997, when he graduated in Photography from the London College of Communication. He has specialised in weddings for the last six years and has had his work published in magazines including Elle, Saturday Telegraph Magazine and Vanity Fair to name a few. His background is in interior and portrait photography, which is very useful with weddings since they involve the two so closely! His style combines documentary photography with the traditional. He likes to be as discreet as possible throughout the day but his precise interior photography background adds an element of the traditional. When he is not photographing weddings, family portraits or magazine shoots, he enjoys the company of his partner Emma, his two young children and Springer Spaniel, Max. He lives in West Sussex and prefers to photograph weddings around South of England so he is not too far from the family. Do get in touch to see his portfolio.
